Andrea specializes in Swedish, neuromuscular, aromatherapeutic & hot stone massage, Usui Reiki and practical holistic therapies. She will soon receive certification in Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy, which will be an additional massage therapy option only available here at Gateway Fitness Studio.
Her extensive history with and passion for aromatherapy led her to open Angel Escents, a retail outlet for her many natural creations ranging from aromatherapeutic synergies of essential oils to handcrafted all natural bath, body & home care products. This experience offered Andrea a deeper appreciation of holistic therapies and eventually led her into massage therapy and energy work. Prior to that she was an expanded duty dental assistant for 13 years. She was instrumental in developing, coordinating, instructing and overseeing the dental assisting program for 3 years at Midstate College in Carthage, IL.
